Sydney West Area Health Service has partnered with Lennox Institute over the last four years to train our cleaning staff up to a Certificate III in Health Support Services Cleaning.  During this time, Lennox Institute has worked closely with Sydney West Area Health Service to ensure all training materials used are specific, not only to the hospital setting, but also towards our staff demographic.

The staff that have undertaken the traineeships have become quite fond of their trainers and really look forward to the training sessions, in some instances, even coming in off annual leave or rostered days off to attend training.  Lennox has always been extremely accommodating with the need to reschedule classes.

To date, we have had 174 members of staff graduate with a Certificate III and currently have 171 staff enrolled in the course.  If it were not for Lennox’s training, coupled with funding from Traineeships, none of this would have taken place.

Lennox Institute was contracted by FUJIFILM Australia to provide its warehouse and production staff with the opportunity to undertake Certificate II & III in Transport and Distribution (Warehousing).

Our decision to partner with Lennox Institute to provide training services was based on their ability and flexibility around training delivery as well as commitment to achieve the best outcome for the employees participating in the program.

The administrative support offered by Lennox Institute was an integral part of helping us make this program such a success. Their trainer was able to motivate, support and develop our employees, many of whom are not used to being in a classroom environment, and some from non-english speaking backgrounds.

We received a great deal of positive feedback from all participants.  I would not hesitate to engage Lennox Institute to provide these services.

Australian Nursing Home Foundation Limited recently formed a partnership with Lennox to deliver Certificate II and III in Health Support Services.  We had 16 staff enrolled for two training courses and were very appreciative of how Lennox customised their training so that all Food Service, Cleaning and Laundry Staff have received both core training as well as specialist training on their specific work area.

We found Lennox’s staff helpful and supportive throughout the student recruitment period and training times were set according to staff and organisation preference which is flexible and meeting the staff’s and our organisational needs.

Lennox has an organised Administration Office to process all apprenticeship training documentation and they send their materials in an orderly and organised manner so all staff have clear orientation of the course before starting their course.

The feedback from our staff has been very positive and they have enjoyed the classes even though the training was held immediately after work.  They are happy with the learning and found the assessment clear, flexible and easy to follow.

We have no doubt that we will continue our partnership with Lennox to provide further training to our staff when the needs arise.

In the past two years, South Eastern Sydney & Illawarra Health Service has engaged the services of Lennox Institute to train nearly 100 of our cleaning staff in the Certificate III in Health Support Services (Cleaning).

We consider Lennox as an important partner in our training delivery. Lennox trainers liaise and work with our site managers and supervisors to ensure that there is a positive training outcome and improvement in standards at the worksite.
